Joint as the first full bespoke piece of furniture for Peter Elder Designs, it was designed to sit in the corner of my clients living room, with the oak bookcase also sitting in the same room. Oak was used primarily in the rest of the house so the intention was my designs should be made to match. I wanted the display case to be visible all around the room which meant it needed to be as open as possible. By using glass shelves the light which I installed in the top made the display case much brighter and really made it eye catching.

Manufactured out of prime oak and using local glass cutters I was able to create a simple but effective design, a truly bespoke piece of furniture made to fit perfectly in the space available!
