Tasked with a very specific brief the client wanted a new HiFi unit with a seperate stand for their TV, the TV stand had to be adjustable so it would always sit above the units on the top shelf. Due to the weight of the amplifiers and CD players quality of manufacture was key, with client specifying the use of Walnut so that it would match the rest of his house.

On the surface where the legs showed through I made a feature of the join using a V router cutter which helped to create a simple but pleasing pattern on each of the three layers.
