The chopping board was designed in 2014. It was designed as part of the 'Fine Dining' range which utilised natural materials to create both functional and desirable products. The chopping board was designed for both the home cook and the professional chef in mind. Whilst it is simple in design it is intended to make the preparation of food easier.

It utilises the MakeEdge™ technology, winner of the IF Design Award 2009, to enable the user to easily sharpen their knives before chopping. It is this simple but effective idea which enables it to stand out compared to other conventional chopping boards. Manufactured by hand in Cheshire the chopping board is currently only available online direct through Peter Elder.
