The tableware set was designed in 2014. It was designed as part of the 'Fine Dining' range which utilised natural materials to create both functional and desirable products. Peter designed the plates to utilize the Delboeuf illusion to try to help encourage people to be healthier by getting them to eat less food.

In this element of his project he worked with Katie Bentley a ceramics student in Sunderland to manufacture his products. His work with her created a final product which was heavily influenced by the classical china plates but with the intention of creating a modern and minimalist interpretation.
